Shawn Wolfswinkel, founder of Texas Turnkey Properties, has been investing in real estate for over 20 years. He established the company to meet the unique needs of institutional and individual investors.

Texas Turnkey Properties is a leading authority in investment real estate, known for its exceptional client service, strong risk management, and hands-on property management. Shawn is also a philanthropist, supporting organizations like Bridge the Gaps, Lenn Foundation, Camp Hope, The PTSD Foundation of America, and Generous Genius.

Joni Wolfswinkel is a successful entrepreneur and philanthropist. She owns and operates multiple businesses, including Real Property Management franchises, Texas Turnkey Properties, Mr. Rooter, and True Work Logistics. She is a sought-after speaker on women's empowerment and personal growth.

Joni co-hosts the popular "Inside the Wolf's Den" podcast with her husband, Shawn. She is also the author of "The Choice Is Yours: Balancing Success as Wife, Mom, and Entrepreneur." Joni is dedicated to giving back to the community. She serves on the board of directors for Bridge the Gaps and supports various other charitable organizations.

Our Story

During his college years, Kirk McGary had a choice of a part-time job working with some friends involved with property management or working in fast food; he chose property management. A few years later, after starting a successful career in accounting and software development, Kirk started a property management business, which over the next fifteen years grew and became increasingly successful.

Kirk then partnered with another entrepreneur, Doug Oler, who had extensive business experience running multi-unit companies. Together, they decided to share Kirk’s property management success with others and, in 2005, launched their first Real Property Management franchised office.

Since then, hundreds of other entrepreneurs have joined the Real Property Management organization and opened more than 300 locations throughout the United States and Canada. Along the way, we have refined systems and processes, added new technologies, built best in class training systems, and created first class marketing tools. Today, the Real Property Management franchise organization is the largest property management organization in North America.

Shawn and Joni Wolfswinkel were recognized for their outstanding achievements by winning the Neighborly Franchise of the Year award in 2022.
